Atlético de Kolkata registered their fourth win of Hero Indian Super League Season 2 after beating Kerala Blasters FC 3-2 on Tuesday evening and head coach Antonio Lopez Habas was pleased with his team’s performance.“I think it's fair that ATK won the game, but it was also possible for Kerala to win the game. In football, we have to fight for maximum points. It's very important to maintain the belief for the team,” Habas told reporters at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi after the match. For ATK, Arata Izumi, who came on as a substitute, scored two goals in the match, including one in added time which proved to be the difference between the two sides. When asked to assess Izumi’s performance, Habas said: “…The player has discipline. He works hard and he's earned [those] goals.”Both teams went into the break at 1-1 and when asked whether ATK were playing for a draw in the first half, Habas said: “You might think that we played for a draw but ATK played for a win. We want to take on the opposition on the pitch. ATK players needed confidence going into this game and we could not lose. The players played fantastic and we won.”With the win, ATK moved up to the fourth position with 13 points from nine matches and now travel to New Delhi to play Delhi Dynamos FC on Saturday. The Roberto Carlos-coached side lies third with 14 points from eight matches.
