Habas ban reduced following appeal

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Disciplinary Committee has ruled on Atlético de Kolkata's appeal regarding head coach Antonio López Habas' ban which had been handed out following infractions of AIFF disciplinary rules during the team's game against FC Goa on October 23. Habas' initial four-match ban has been reduced to a two-match ban and a two-match suspended ban which will be served if there is another infringement of the AIFF disciplinary code. The full text of the AIFF decision is as follows:
The Chairman of the AIFF Disciplinary Committee decided the following today in the review petitions filed by both teams under Article 143 of the AIFF Disciplinary Code against order dated October 25, 2014:
Antonio López Habas, Head Coach of Atlético de Kolkata shall serve the suspension of four matches as under:
Suspension for two consecutive matches of the Hero Indian Super League, for matches played by the team after October 23 as per the ISL fixtures.
Further, implementation of sanctions for the remaining two matches shall remain suspended for a probationary period of two months from October 23. During this two months' probation period, if Habas commits another infringement, the suspension shall be automatically revoked and the sanction applied; it will be added to the new sanction pronounced for the new infringement.
The fine of Rs 500,000/- (Rupees five lakh only) on him remains the same.
No other change is made in the order of the Chairman, AIFF Disciplinary Committee, dated October 25, 2014.
