NorthEast United FC head coach Cesar Farias was happy to have earned one point from their away Hero Indian Super League Season 2 outing against FC Goa at Fatorda’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday evening. With the 1-1 result, the Highlanders moved one place up to fourth in the standings and kept themselves in the frame for the semi-finals. Farias was happy to have taken one point from the den of one of the top teams of this season.“We need to keep our minds cool. We've been breaking all the expectations of the league and of the people after we lost the first three games. People didn't count us in but here we are and it’s the fourth game away that we've been getting points from. Before the game if anyone told me, 'Hey, you're going to get a point’, I would be happy. It's unfortunate that we didn't get the three but it’s a very important point for us,” Farias told reporters after the match.Farias also said his eyes were now set on the home game against Delhi Dynamos FC on Saturday. “It's [today’s result] in the past. We are 100% thinking of the Delhi game we play in three days. We got to leave everything in the past. We played to win today and we have another final on Saturday.”“We are very happy with our performance. I think we played to win, we created more chances to deserve the win, but that's football. Now we have two home games and hopefully destiny makes us come back here [for the final].”The Highlanders were leading 1-0 before Reinaldo got the equaliser for the Gaurs in the 80th minute. When asked as to what led to the late goal from the home side, Farias said: “That’s a dangerous time to lose the ball and it's unfortunate. But we still reacted and created chances. Besides, their team got very emotional with the push of the crowd and felt they could get the better of us but even in that situation we still controlled the game.”
