Marquee player and skipper of Hero Indian Super League's new kings Chennaiyin FC, Elano Blumer has returned to his native Brazilian club Santos after the completion of his loan deal with the Super Machans.The former Brazil international enjoyed a fine title-winning season with the southern-outfit under the supervision of Marco Materazzi in which he scored four goals and provided four assists.The 34-year-old midfield maestro has become a firm fan favourite after producing one inspiring performance after another for Chennaiyin FC over the course of Season 1 and Season 2. In the inaugural season, he scored eight goals on his way to the Alto K10 Golden Boot Award.The Brazilian heavyweights will be hoping Chennaiyin FC's midfield talisman can carry his fine form into the new Brazilian Serie A and help them have a shot at the title.
