In front of over 25,000 spectators, the 3-3 draw ensured the Highlanders left Chennai with one point in their kitty. In the high-octane encounter, Nicolas Velez scored a brace for the Highlanders, while Dudu scored all three goals for the Super Machans. After a brilliant day at the office, Velez spoke to indiansuperleague.com and shared his thoughts on the result. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

3-3 tonight, how do you rate this performance?

I think it was a good game. It was a high quality game. We knew we couldn’t lose. We have been working hard and we earned one very important point.

After scoring two goals tonight, how would you rate your own performance?

I am happy with the two goals. But I am happier because I helped the team earn the point. Now I look forward to the next game.

Do you think you still have a chance to make the semis?

Yes, we can still make it. We know that it depends on us. We have to win our next game and we are still in the race. We can go to the semis.
