The veteran shot-stopper has started in goal for the Blasters in defeats against NorthEast United FC & Atlético de Kolkata, making six saves for Steve Coppell’s team. Stack will come up against a high-flying Delhi team this Sunday and can expect to have his hands full as the Southern outfit look for their first points of the season. The 35-year-old spoke to indiansuperleague.com ahead of his team’s crucial home encounter. Here are the excerpts from the interview. This is your second home game this season. What is your opinion on the crowd and the atmosphere here?Amazing, I have really enjoyed the experience. The support is fantastic, it is very noisy, very yellow and very loud. It was a wonderful experience in terms of the occasion but unfortunately the result wasn’t ideal [against Atlético de Kolkata].What are your thoughts on Delhi and how are you preparing for them?Delhi look like a good side and we are preparing in the best possible way we can, and our training has gone well. Everyone is looking forward to it and picking up some points. How are you practising personally and how are you improving with this league?I’m working very hard with the other keepers. Still early stages, we’ve still got time but I’ve really enjoyed training, the other keepers have been excellent and [Sandip] Nandy has been a great example for goalkeepers. We are all working extremely hard and hoping to improve.
