Lenny Rodrigues will be hoping for his third start in Hero Indian Super League 2016 when FC Pune City host FC Goa at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi on Thursday. The Stallions are yet to win a match at home this year and head into their second clash of the season against the Gaurs with six points from as many games. The 29-year-old, who has completed one block, one interception, two clearances and five successful tackles in Hero ISL 2016, spoke to indiansuperleague.com ahead of the match. Here are the excerpts from the interview. You have not won a single home game yet, so what are you going to do to change that?Everybody is disappointed and we want to win our first home game and the boys are gelling well and I hope we win tomorrow, and we are ready to give our best tomorrow.Your last three games have been all draws, what’s the reason behind that?Well, you can’t say anything…The draws are disappointing and tomorrow is the day when we can show mental strength on the field. Are we going to see any long-range goals from you this season?Well, let’s hope for the best and I am trying hard to get the goals. It’s up to god but I will give my best.
