Sony Norde will be looking to contribute more to Mumbai City FC’s Hero Indian Super League 2016 campaign when they face defending champions Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday. The 27-year-old winger spoke to indiansuperleague.com ahead of his side’s clash against Chennai on Wednesday. Here are the excerpts from the interview.Mumbai have had a great start to the season, so what’s the mood like?It is good for us because when you win, it is always good and let’s hope we can win tomorrow again and go top of the table and the most important thing is the fighting spirit of the team and our main objective is to qualify for the semis. You have never beaten Chennaiyin. Will that have any bearing on the game tomorrow?Yeah, that’s in the past because this time we have new players and a new coach so things will be different and everybody knows Chennai is a good team and a tough opponent but we will be there tomorrow to get the three points and go home with a win.How has it been playing with Diego Forlan? Has he been giving you any tips?Well, it is always good when you have a player like him. We get to learn from him as he is a very good player, and that gives me confidence and makes me feel more confident and more excited regarding my career and it is very good playing with him.
