Delhi Dynamos FC will host Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday. The Lions will be searching for their first victory of Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2018-19 after drawing three and losing three in their six matches so far.

Ahead of the all-important fixture, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Delhi's young midfielder Nandhakumar Sekar for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts.

This is your second year with Delhi Dynamos FC. How has the experience been?

Yeah, I’m very comfortable with Delhi Dynamos FC because of the management, the city of Delhi and everything here is very comfortable. Everything is going well. The management is also very comfortable with us and we are good friends.

Thoughts on head coach Josep Gombau and his style of play.

He’s a good coach because he likes to play with a lot of ball possession. He’s very good. His style is more about playing with the football, more touches, overlapping runs, crossing. This is good for us.

Thoughts on the season so far.

It’s a little bit of a sad situation because we have had no wins in six matches, just draws and losses. It’s not a problem, sometimes it happens. We improve day-by-day and we work on our weaknesses. We have high hopes that maybe next year we will win.

Thoughts on the match against Jamshedpur FC.

Yes, Jamshedpur FC are a good team. They had a good win in their last match. It’s good, let’s see. I hope that we will play well.

Any message for the Delhi Dynamos FC fans?

Every match, they support us. Thank you for supporting us. Everybody is coming to watch us play. Keep supporting us and thank you very much.
