Luka Majcen, the Punjab FC attacker, has taken part in every one of the team's 22 Indian Super League matches in 2023/2024, an ever-present feature by starting in all 22. Majcen last appeared in the league on April 10 for Punjab FC against East Bengal FC. In that game the Slovenian player found the back of the net for his team in their 4-1 win. The attacker is ranked joint seventh in the Indian Super League goalscoring charts with a total of eight goals this campaign, as well as being the team's top league scorer. Majcen has also provided two assists as well - the joint second most for the team. He has amassed three yellow cards. A first goal of the league campaign for Majcen came against Mohun Bagan Super Giant in a 3-1 loss on September 23. Last season for Punjab FC, Majcen made 20 I-League appearances, scored 16 goals and provided three assists. Majcen switched to Punjab FC in September 2022 from Gokulam Kerala, for whom he made 13 league appearances in total, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.
