Aitor Monroy began his youth career with Spanish club RSD Alcala before signing for Atletico Madrid. He turned out for their B and C teams before joining UD Logrones. The midfielder has also played in countries like Moldova, Israel and Romania. After moving to Jamshedpur FC ahead of the 2019-20 season, Aitor played every minute of league football for the club, establishing himself as a mainstay in quick time. He scored one goal and provided an assist, and followed it up with an even better showing in Hero ISL 2020-21 by dint of six assists.
