Bio
John Goossens began his youth career at HBC Heemstede and joined Ajax’s youth system in 1999. Goossens has represented his country at the U-17 and U-21 levels. He was part of the Netherlands U-17 squad that finished at third place at the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship, scoring two goals in the tournament.
In 2009 he made a move from Ajax to N.E.C. Nijmegen that plays in the Eerste Divisie which is the second division of professional football in the country. He made 72 appearances for the team finding the net 14 times. In 2012 he moved to first division side Feyenoord for whom he played 30 games scoring thrice.
