Gopi Singh began his professional career with NEROCA FC, and made 15 appearances in the 2017-18 season, earning him a move to ATK FC. The midfielder turned out for his team’s reserve side for the next two seasons, playing in the Hero I-League second division as well as the Durand Cup. After failing to break into the first team at ATK FC, Gopi will look to make his Hero ISL debut with SC East Bengal, having joined the club ahead of the 2020-21 season.
