Sunil Chhetri is a Bengaluru FC attacker who has taken part in every one of the club's 28 Indian Super League games in 2024/2025 and played 1,961 minutes, starting in 19 of these and coming on as a substitute on nine occasions. Chhetri last made an appearance in a league game on April 12, playing 120 minutes for Bengaluru FC versus Mohun Bagan Super Giant in a 2-1 loss. The attacker has netted 14 goals this Indian Super League season, which ranks him second overall in this category in 2024/2025, while also making him the top league scorer for his side. In addition, he has chipped in with two assists as well. Chhetri was last on target in the league in the 2-1 defeat against FC Goa on April 6, netting in the 92nd minute. He opened his account for the campaign against Hyderabad FC on September 19, scoring twice during a 3-0 victory. Last season for Bengaluru FC, Chhetri made 20 Indian Super League appearances, scored five goals and provided three assists. Chhetri linked up with Bengaluru FC in January 2017 from Mumbai City FC, for whom he made 17 league appearances in total, scoring seven goals.
