Anthony Barbosa began his career with the Raia SC under-15 team but soon joined the the Salgoacar youth development programme. He emerged as member of the senior team and figured in some of its victorious campaigns. He exudes high energy in the midfield and makes speedy runs into opposition territory. In 2013, Barbosa signed for Churchill Brothers and made his debut against his former club. He has also represented the India under-23s in 2011.
