Shot stopper Steve Simonsen is best known from his time at Stoke City for whom he made more than 150 appearances. He helped the Potters gain promotion to the Premier League for the 2008-09 season. He has also played for clubs like Everton and Sheffield United. Simonsen has spent the last two years at Rangers wherein his team created history by going the entire 2013-14 season undefeated, clinching the Scottish League One championship on the way.
