Ashique Kuruniyan is a Bengaluru attacker who has not taken part in a high proportion of their Indian Super League games in 2020/2021, making eight appearances overall and playing 622 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in seven of these appearances across their 20 fixtures and been used as a substitute on one occasion. Kuruniyan last appeared in a league game on February 21, playing 90 minutes for Bengaluru against Goa in a 2-1 defeat. In total, the attacker has registered one Indian Super League assist this term. He has been booked four times.In last season's Indian Super League, Kuruniyan appeared in 18 games for Bengaluru, scored one goal and provided one assist. Kuruniyan switched to Bengaluru in August 2019 from Pune City, for whom he made 26 league appearances in total, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
