    Matt Derbyshire is a Macarthur attacker who has played in the vast majority of their A-League games in 2020/2021, making 27 appearances overall and accumulating 2,340 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 26 of these appearances across their 28 fixtures and been used as a substitute on one occasion. The last A-League match that Derbyshire played came on June 20 for Macarthur versus Melbourne City; a match that he played 90 minutes in during a 2-0 loss. The attacker has netted 14 A-League goals this campaign, which is the second most by a player in the competition in 2020/2021, whilst he also ranks joint eighth for A-League assists this season having assisted five goals for his team-mates. He has been shown seven yellow cards. Derbyshire was last on target in the league in the 1-1 draw against Perth Glory on May 23, netting in the 30th minute. He opened his account for the campaign against Newcastle Jets on January 17, scoring during a 2-1 victory. Last season for Omonia Nicosia, Derbyshire made 22 1. Division appearances and scored 13 goals. Derbyshire moved to Macarthur in August 2020 from Omonia Nicosia, for whom he made 113 league appearances in total, scoring 62 goals.
