Diego Maurício, the Odisha FC attacker, has taken part in the vast majority of the team's Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, making 22 appearances overall and accumulating 1,419 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 16 of these appearances across their 24 fixtures and entered as a substitute on six occasions. Maurício last appeared in an Indian Super League game on February 28, playing 90 minutes for Odisha FC against Mohammedan in a 0-0 stalemate. The attacker has netted nine Indian Super League goals this season, which is tied for the sixth most by a player in the competition in 2024/2025, whilst he also ranks joint fourth for Indian Super League assists this campaign having created six goals for his team-mates. He has been shown one yellow card. Maurício was last on target in the league with a brace in the 3-2 win against Bengaluru FC on January 22, netting in the 29th and 38th minute. He opened his account for the campaign against Chennaiyin FC on September 14, scoring during a 3-2 loss. In last season's Indian Super League, Maurício appeared in 23 games for Odisha FC, scored 11 goals and provided one assist. Prior to linking up with Odisha FC in June 2022, Maurício made seven league appearances in total at Mumbai City FC, scoring three goals.
