Ricky Shabong is a Punjab FC midfielder who has not taken part in a high proportion of the side's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 10 appearances overall and playing 714 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in eight of these appearances across their 22 fixtures and been used as a substitute on two occasions. Shabong last made an appearance in a competition game on April 10, playing 90 minutes for Punjab FC against East Bengal FC in a 4-1 success. Shabong played one Indian Super League game last season for Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Prior to joining Punjab FC in July 2023, Shabong made one league appearance in total at Mohun Bagan Super Giant.
