Roger Johnson is a British professional football player. The Surrey-born centre back has begun and played his entire career in England, before joining FC Pune City. He began his career with Wycombe Wanderers whose senior side he would join a few years later. He would go on to quite a few English clubs like Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City, West Ham United, amongst others. He has bagged the Cardiff City’s Player of the Year award twice.
However, his most productive time came with Birmingham where he played all 76 Premier League games in the 2 seasons from 2009 to 2011 and he played every minute in the 2009-10 season. His time at Birmingham was garnished by a League Cup in 2010-11 win where Johnson scored against Arsenal in the final.
