Likmabam Rakesh, the Punjab FC defender, hasn't been involved in many of the team's Indian Super League matches in 2024/2025, making five appearances overall and playing 106 minutes. Every one of his appearances this season have come as a substitute. The last Indian Super League appearance that Rakesh made came on February 22 for Punjab FC against East Bengal FC; a game that he played 33 minutes in during a 3-1 defeat. Rakesh played 17 I-League games last season for NEROCA. Rakesh switched to Punjab FC on loan in August 2024.
