The young left-back from New Delhi's CRPF Public School captained his state in the junior nationals Dr BC Roy Trophy in 2010. He initially played for Simla Youngs in the capital city before heading east and helping United Sikkim qualify for the I-League premier division. Although the Snow Lions were relegated, Lugun had an impressive debut season in the top flight in 2012-13, starting in all their 24 games. His stint at Rangdajied United last season confirmed the good impression he had initially created with Lugun catching the eye with his crosses and his role as one of the designated set piece specialists for his club. Having spent the inaugural season with Delhi Dynamos FC, Lugun donned the Mumbai City FC last season, but is now back with the Lions for the new season.
