Robustly built Rowilson Rodrigues is a product of the famed SESA Academy in Goa and had a long and illustrious career with his first professional club Churchill Brothers whom he represented from 2006 till 2011. He spent the next two seasons with Dempo before leaving for Mohun Bagan in 2013 and returning to Panaji after a season. The experienced centre back has a commanding presence and injects quality into that position. The Mahesh Gawli and Rio Ferdinand admirer has enjoyed a glittering career and amassed a string of prestigious trophies with the Goan clubs. Rodrigues represented India at the 2010 Asian Games, 2010 and 2012 AFC Challenge Cup and the 2010 SAFF Championships where India emerged as champions. Rodrigues made four appearances for Mumbai in 2015 after making just 1 appearance for the Gaurs in season 1.
