With the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 underway, we have been treated with some exciting football matches in the past week. Irrespective of the outcomes, the games have been mouth-watering and have witnessed a lot of brilliant goals and performances. Looking back at the first week of the Hero ISL that ended with Sunday’s clash between SC East bengal and Jamshedpur FC, here are the top performing stars from Week 1 and players to look out for in Week 2.

Dream11 MVP of the Week

Hugo Boumous (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 127 Dream11 Points

Roped in for a hefty fee by ATK Mohun Bagan in the summer transfer window, the investment is reaping dividends for the club so far. In the opening match against Kerala Blasters FC, the Moroccan scored two goals and helped the Mariners log three points to kickstart their campaign with a bang. Known for his exploits in the playmaking zone, we are yet to see the best of him this season.

Key Players from Week 1

Cleiton Silva (Bengaluru FC) - 94 Dream11 Points

The Brazilian was the best player for Bengaluru FC in the previous season, having scored seven goals and provided four assists throughout the season. With a lot of expectations from him in the new season, Silva hasn’t disappointed so far, having scored once and assisting another en-route to their 4-2 win over NorthEast United FC in the opening fixture.

Roy Krishna (ATK Mohun Bagan)  - 81 Dream11 Points

The Fijian was off and running for the season with a goal in ATK Mohun Bagan’s 4-2 win over Kerala Blasters FC. He looked lively and was involved in a lot of the Mariners’ attack. He is a must-have in the season going forward thanks to his reputation and also the way he has started this season.

Apart from the above mentioned list, let us have a look at the players we need to keep an eye in Week 2 of the Hero ISL 2021-22:

Hero ISL Dream11 recruiter: Players to look out for in Week 2

Antonio Perosevic vs ATK Mohun Bagan

The Croatian forward had already created a hype among the SC East Bengal faithfuls when he was signed in the transfer window. Even though Perosevic failed to score in the opening game, his skills were on display throughout the game and also assisted the only goal the team scored in the draw. With arch-rivals ATK Mohun Bagan up in the next game, expect some fireworks from the talented footballer.

Deshorn Brown vs Kerala Blasters FC

The Jamaican striker has been impressive in the last term for NorthEast United FC and he has carried his form in the current season as well. Brown already scored a goal in the opening match against Bengaluru FC and kept the defenders on their toes throughout the game. With Kerala Blasters FC showing signs of vulnerability in the defence, the Highlanders’ striker might get a few strikes at the target.
