India announced their final 23-member squad for the SAFF U20 Men’s Championship 2024 on Wednesday, under the guidance of head coach Ranjan Chaudhuri. The tournament will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from August 16 to August 28.

This marks India's sixth appearance in the U20 SAFF Championship, where they hold the record as three-time winners. India has been drawn into Group B alongside Maldives and Bhutan, while Group A features hosts Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for August 25 and 26. The final will be played at Dashrath Rangasala Stadium on August 28.

The 23-member squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Lionel Daryl Rymmei, Sahil, Priyansh Dubey.

Defenders: Ricky Meetei Haobam, Surajkumar Singh Ngangbam, Malemngamba Singh Thokchom, Dhanajit Ashangbam, Manabir Basumatary, Thomas Kanamoottil Cherian, Sonam Tsewang Lhokham, Pramveer.

Midfielders: Manjot Singh Dhami, Vanlalpeka Guite, Akash Tirkey, Ebindas Yesudasan, Manglenthang Kipgen, Gurnaj Singh Grewal.

Forwards: Kelvin Singh Taorem, Korou Singh Thingujam, Monirul Molla, Thanglalsoun Gangte, Naoba Meitei Pangambam, Gwgwmsar Goyary.
