Third-placed ATK Mohun Bagan will face Odisha FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata for the second game of the Hero ISL knockouts in a bid to advance to the last four.

The Mariners will be very keen to boost their goalscoring form in this important phase of the season and will look to take full advantage of the home ground and home support when they take on Josep Gombau’s Odisha FC side.

The Juggernauts who scraped into the playoffs will try to upset Juan Ferrando’s side who will be under pressure to deliver on home soil.

Ahead of the knockout games, Hero ISL experts Paul Masefield, Erik Paartalu and Phil Brown put their reputation on the line and gave their predictions for the clash in Kolkata.

Paul Masefield’s predictions

ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 Odisha FC

ATK Mohun Bagan will be at home, which is a real plus for them, and the Mariners will come out to get behind their side like in the derby.

Odisha FC’s away form has not been great, we do not know what formation they will play in. It will be a tight one to call for until we see the line-ups but if we consider the individuals and personnel on both sides, we have to give the edge to ATK Mohun Bagan. The Mariners will defend tightly and have explosive players on the attack and they might win the game comfortably.

Phil Brown’s prediction

ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 Odisha FC

This might be a home win for ATK Mohun Bagan, who have strength in depth on the front line. Odisha FC will not be able to score in this game. The Mariners' home form will pay dividends, and the game will be decided there.

Erik Paartalu’s prediction

ATK Mohun Bagan 2-0 Odisha FC

The Mariners are at home, they are peaking at the right time, Juan Ferrando has a huge talent pool available to choose from now, and I think they will take this game comfortably.

Odisha FC, if they are to spur an upset, need to change something in their buildup. They invite a lot of pressure.
