Bengaluru FC announce exits of Drost and Damjanovic

Bengaluru FC on Saturday announced their decision to part ways with forward Oliver Drost and defender Slavko Damjanovic.

Damjanovic, who joined Bengaluru FC last summer on a one-year contract, had previously played for Chennaiyin FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the ISL, winning the ISL Cup with the Mariners during the 2022-23 season.

During his time with the Blues, the Montenegrin centre-back made 16 appearances and secured two clean sheets.

Meanwhile, Drost joined Bengaluru FC during the January transfer window with a contract running until the end of the 2023-24 season. However, he struggled to find his form at his new club, making only nine appearances and providing just one assist.
