AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 draw: Teams find out group-stage opponents
The AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 draw has set up a Kolkata derby clash between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal FC.

The AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 will feature 16 teams, divided into four groups for the group stage. Reigning ISL champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant and reigning Super Cup champions FC Goa have been named top seeds and will lead two separate groups.
The tournament will follow a group-stage format. The draw, conducted on Thursday, produced the following groups:
- Group A: Mohun Bagan Super Giant, East Bengal FC, Chennaiyin FC, Real Kashmir FC
- Group B: FC Goa, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC, Inter Kashi FC
- Group C: Bengaluru FC, Mohammedan SC, Punjab FC, Gokulam Kerala FC
- Group D: Mumbai City FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Hyderabad FC, Rajasthan United FC
Only the winners of each group will progress to the semi-finals. The winner will earn a playoff spot in the 2026-27 AFC Champions League Two. The Group Stage will see 24 matches, which will be played between October 25 and November 6, before a brief break for the November FIFA International Window, when India play Bangladesh (November 18) in their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers Final Round.
The sixth edition of the Super Cup will begin with East Bengal FC taking on Real Kashmir FC, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant will face Chennaiyin FC.

The dates for the knockout matches will be announced later.
Bengaluru FC won the inaugural Super Cup in 2018, before FC Goa lifted the trophy in 2019 by defeating Chennaiyin FC in the final. The competition was not held between 2020 and 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but returned in 2023, when Odisha FC beat Bengaluru FC to claim their first-ever silverware. Kolkata Giants East Bengal FC emerged champions in 2024, while FC Goa reclaimed the Cup in May 2025 with a victory over Jamshedpur FC.
