NorthEast United FC will be on the road against Jamshedpur FC when the two teams clash on Saturday. Jamshedpur have not lost a single match in their own backyard, while the visitors have won all their four away fixtures this season.

Ahead of the intriguing fixture, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Jamshedpur striker, Sumeet Passi for an exclusive interview. Here are the excerpts:

Thoughts on the match against NorthEast United FC.

The last match we played in North East, we drew that match. Now we’re playing in our home. So, we’ll try our best to win. Now we are more focussed because we’ve won the last match against the defending champions. So, I think everyone is confident. We’ll try to win.

NorthEast are unbeaten away and you are unbeaten at home. Thoughts?

NorthEast United FC are in good form. They’re undefeated in away matches but we are playing at home and we’re undefeated in our home. We’ll have our fans also. So, it will be a difficult match for us and them. But we’ll give our best to stay undefeated at home and to win this match.

Who are the main threats from NorthEast?

I think that Bartholomew Ogbeche is in very good form. He’s scoring against all the teams. So, I think Ogbeche is a threat for us and we’ll make our plan.

How much of a miss will Sergio Cidoncha be?

Yeah, Cido is a big loss for us, he’s out until January. Now as a striker I have more responsibility. I have to score. So, if I score then our defence and midfield can be a little relaxed because they will have something to defend. So yes, it’s more responsibility for me.
