Mumbai City FC playmaker André Moritz became an instant sensation when he notched a hat-trick in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL). The 28-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder, who has represented Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderers, took part in an extended Q&A session on the official ISL Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IndianSuperLeague) yesterday, answering varied questions sent in by Hero ISL fans. Here is the transcript of the Q&A session:Q: What do you think about Kolkata crowd?- Rajat Subhra NayakA: It was a great experience considering it was my first game. I didn't know what to expect, so it was amazing to play a game in front of such a large audience. It's an experience I’ll never forget.Q: I think you are the best player in this league, what do you think?- Radim MalinaA: Thank you for your kind words but I just try to be the best player that I can be and try to improve after every game.Q: Which Indian players do you like the most? - Sujoy BhattacharyaA: It would be harsh to name someone. I have great relations with all the Indian boys. The great things about them is that they are always trying to do their best and that’s the most important thing for me. They get better and better every day!"I am very impressed by how well this league has been organised."André MoritzQ: What are the positives and negatives of playing with our players?- Rushit Gnanaroy A: There really are no negatives. I am always looking to learn and improve wherever I play and I have been learning so much by playing in this league. This is truly an experience I will never forget.Q: Will you play for Mumbai City FC in the next season?- Suyog S SurveA: I don't know yet. I have a contract for this season. I would love to play in the next ISL, but the future is always uncertain.Q: What is your opinion of the ISL?- Ajo RajlinA: It's a really well organised league. It was a great surprise for me to be here. I wasn't expecting that much of an effort to make the league great. It's been a beautiful experience to play in the first ISL. It is also great honour to be a part of football history in India.Q: Will the ISL be popular in the future?- Abhinav SinghA: I think, yes, the way it's going, in terms of the investment, the will to make it better. In 5-10 years it could be one of the major leagues in the world.Q: Do you think Indian football can ever reach the physical and technical ability of English football?- Daffodil JanaA: It definitely can. I am very impressed by how well this league has been organised. If all this can happen in one year, so much can happen in the next 5-10 years.Q: What is your advice to young footballers of India? - Aakhil Shajahan SA: Always try your best, your hardest. I try to improve in every training session and never ever give up. Don't let people ever tell you that you cannot be great.Q: Who is your favourite singer?- Darshan Omji HedaA: My favourite singer is a Brazilian artist called Belo. I love his style and for me he's the best.Q: Which is your favourite pair of boots?- Sayantan BagchiA: My favourite pair is Mizuno. They are the best pair of shoes I have worn.Q: Who is the funniest guy in your team? - Aarav MalakarA: The funniest guy is Javi (Fernández Luque). He's a great guy to be around with.Q: How is it playing with the likes of Anelka and Ljungberg?- Sushobit RahaA: It's great, I'm playing with two legends. I'm not the most experienced player, so I learn from them every day. It's easy to play with players like that because we link up well.Q: You are the heart of MCFC. Who is the best player you like to link up with?- Christopher D’CunhaA: I think the best players I link up with are the three forwards. My job entails transferring the ball from defence to attack. We haven't been scoring lately but we're linking up really well, and that is important to me.Q: Which is your favourite club in Europe?- Rahul G NairA: Nice question! My favourite club in Europe is Barcelona. I was 11 years old when I went for a futsal championship to the Camp Nou. Ever since, I have always had a soft spot for Barcelona.Q: Have you learnt any Hindi after coming to India?- Salman SargurohA: Yeah, I have, but I can’t speak it here.Q: How are you adapting to the cuisine? Tasted our curries? - Nomadakin McguffinA: We are at one of the best hotels in Mumbai, but unfortunately, we do not have too much time to try out street food. All my experiences with Indian food have been great so far!Q: Who is the best, (Cristiano) Ronaldo or Messi? - Mid Hun PopzzA: I think they are different players. I think Messi is really natural, he is more gifted, but on the other hand, Ronaldo is a great player as well who works really hard. They are both fantastic players in their own right.Q: What is written on your hand? I mean the tattoos. - Ryan Ricky IngtikatharA: I have three tattoos. The first is a tribute to my parents, the second is the Turkish flag (it's close to my heart) and the third a warrior of God.
