FC Pune City travel to the home of Jamshedpur FC on Saturday in a bid to continue their fine spell of form, which has seen them go four matches unbeaten. The Stallions currently sit in seventh place with 15 points and need a win to keep themselves alive in the race for a play-off spot.

Pune head coach Phil Brown was present at the pre-match press conference to address the media. He began by commending his players for displaying a never-say-die attitude during their last two matches. "I think it is very important that we approach the next game in a positive way. The reason why I say that is that we have shown a lot of character to come from behind in our last two games," he said.

Brown then spoke of his admiration for the Jamshedpur squad and admitted that he was more than wary of the quality they possess. "Jamshedpur are a very good team and they are probably my biggest challenge since coming to India. They are where they are in the league because of their quality and because of the players they have. We have to be prepared for long periods of time where we might not have the ball. If the opposition has plenty of the ball then we have to be patient," he opined.

The Englishman also pointed out the calibre of strikers present within his own squad and said, "Iain Hume has been a great servant in the Hero ISL and hopefully his time and experience in the league will stand us in good stead on Saturday. Robin Singh is fresh from scoring in the previous game and is playing with confidence. Marcelo Pereira also scored two goals in my first game against Chennaiyin. The belief is starting to come back in the team."

He then went on to give an injury update and informed, "The only injury we have is Matt Mills. He hasn’t been available to us in the two games so far. We brought him with us. We are hoping that he will be involved at some stage for the game. We will rely on how he’s feeling. If he’s okay, maybe he will make the bench."
