Chanso started his football career at Manipur State League where he represented several clubs and gathered a lot of experience. In 2018 he got picked for Manipur state camp ahead of the Santosh Trophy in 2018. His consistent performances in Manipur State League got noted by NEROCA and they roped him in for the 2019-20 I-League season. Chanso last featured for NEROCA and gave impressive performances in the I-League and made 15 appearances for the Manipuri club. He was then roped in by Mumbai City FC to play in the Hero ISL.
