Akshunna Tyagi joined the Odisha FC academy in the 2019-20 season. He scored 20 gaosl in 14 games in the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Elite League for the Odisha FC U-18s. The 20-year-old was promoted to the first team in the Hero ISL 2020-21 season.
