Memo, the Chennaiyin midfielder, has played in the vast majority of the side's Indian Super League matches in 2020/2021, making 19 appearances overall and playing 1,526 minutes. He has started in 16 of these appearances across their 20 fixtures and been used as a substitute on three occasions. Memo last appeared in an Indian Super League game on February 21, playing 90 minutes for Chennaiyin versus Kerala Blasters in a 1-1 draw. He has been shown four yellow cards. In last season's Indian Super League, Memo appeared in 18 games for Jamshedpur, scored one goal and provided one assist. Memo switched to Chennaiyin in October 2020 from Jamshedpur, for whom he made 54 league appearances in total, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
