Carlos Martínez, the FC Goa attacker, has taken part in the vast majority of their Indian Super League matches in 2023/2024, making 24 appearances overall and accumulating 1,586 minutes of playing time. He has started in 19 of these appearances across their 25 fixtures and entered as a substitute on five occasions. Martínez last featured in a league game on April 29, playing 90 minutes for FC Goa against Mumbai City FC in a 2-0 loss. The 37-year-old has scored 10 goals this Indian Super League campaign, which ranks him joint sixth overall in this category in 2023/2024, while also making him the second-top league scorer for his side. In addition, he has chipped in with two assists as well. He has been booked once. It was versus Chennaiyin FC on April 14 when Martínez last scored, netting with a brace in a 4-1 win. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 1-0 victory against Punjab FC on October 2. Martínez played 35 Segunda División games last season for FC Andorra and scored nine goals.
