Defender Ryan Edwards plays for Chennaiyin FC and has appeared in the vast majority of the side's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 23 appearances overall and playing 1,833 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in 20 of these appearances across their 23 fixtures and been used as a substitute on three occasions. The last league game that Edwards played came on April 20 for Chennaiyin FC versus FC Goa; a match that he played 90 minutes in during a 2-1 loss. In total, he has notched two Indian Super League goals this term. He has been booked three times, as well as sent off once. Edwards last scored in the league in the 3-2 win against Mohun Bagan Super Giant on March 31, netting in the 80th minute.
