Newcastle Jets' Liridon Krasniqi has taken part in nine A-League matches in 2020/2021 since joining the club on 9th March 2021, with every one of these appearances as a substitute. The last time that Krasniqi featured in the league came on May 15 for Newcastle Jets against Central Coast Mariners; a meeting that he played 16 minutes in during a 1-0 defeat. He has been shown four yellow cards. In last season's Super League, Krasniqi appeared in five games for Melaka United and scored one goal. Krasniqi linked up with Newcastle Jets in March 2021 from Johor Darul Ta'zim, for whom he made three league appearances in total.
