Mobashir Rahman, the Chennaiyin FC midfielder, has made seven appearances in this season's Indian Super League, with six of these coming for his current club. He had previously played for East Bengal FC in the competition during 2023/2024. The last time that Rahman featured in the league came on April 14 for Chennaiyin FC against FC Goa; a match that he played 21 minutes in during a 4-1 loss. Rahman played 13 Indian Super League games last season for East Bengal FC and created one assist. Rahman moved to Chennaiyin FC on loan in January 2024 from East Bengal FC, for whom he has made 14 league appearances in total, providing one assist, after joining the club in August 2022 from Jamshedpur FC.
