Chennaiyin FC midfielder Mobashir Rahman has made seven appearances in this season's Indian Super League, with six of these coming for his current club. He had previously played for East Bengal FC in the competition during 2023/2024. Rahman last made an appearance in a competition game on April 14, playing 21 minutes for Chennaiyin FC against FC Goa in a 4-1 defeat. In last season's Indian Super League, Rahman played in 13 games for East Bengal FC and created one assist. Rahman linked up with Chennaiyin FC on loan in January 2024 from East Bengal FC, for whom he has made 14 league appearances in total, providing one assist, after joining the club in August 2022 from Jamshedpur FC.
