The experienced Dimas Delgado is a defensive midfielder who is comfortable in possession and possesses the vision to produce long-range passing. The former Barcelona B player is also adept at controlling the tempo of the match. During the 2017-18 season, he played 17 matches, scoring once and providing three assists. He was Bengaluru FC’s dead-ball specialist as well, taking 66 free-kicks and 39 corners. After the departure of Edu Garcia to China League One side Zhejiang Greentown FC, Delgado played in the creative position for Bengaluru FC. After winning the 2018-19 Hero ISL trophy, the defensive lynchpin was key to Bengaluru FC’s tight defence as he went on to play 20 matches. Dimas will look to replicate his form for the Blues in the 2020-21 season.
