Vicente Gomez made his senior team debut in 2007 with Spanish fourth division side AD Huracan. After two seasons at the club, he joined his home team Las Palmas, initially starting with the reserve team. He made his senior team debut for Las Palmas in 2010 and even scored the side’s second goal on his debut in the Copa del Rey. Vicente was instrumental in his club’s promotion to the La Liga during the 2015-16 season, captaining the side against Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. Following the team’s relegation, Gomez moved to the 2nd division side Deportivo La Coruna before joining Kerala Blasters FC for the Hero ISL 2020-21 season. He played 19 matches, scoring two goals and assisting one for the Kochi-based outfit.
