Hugo Boumous is an Odisha FC midfielder who has taken part in the vast majority of the club's Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, making 21 appearances overall and accumulating 1,747 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 20 of these appearances across their 24 fixtures and come on as a substitute on one occasion. Boumous last appeared in the competition on March 5 for Odisha FC against Jamshedpur FC. He netted a brace and assisted another in that game for his club in their 3-2 win. The midfielder has scored six Indian Super League goals this season, whilst he also ranks joint second for Indian Super League assists this season having assisted seven goals for his team-mates. He has amassed seven yellow cards. It was versus NorthEast United FC that Boumous scored for the first time in the league this season in a 3-2 loss on November 3. In last season's Indian Super League, Boumous played in eight games for Mohun Bagan Super Giant and scored one goal. Boumous moved to Odisha FC in July 2024 from Mohun Bagan Super Giant, for whom he made 45 league appearances in total, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists.
