Named after Brazil's legend Romario, Alexander Romario Jesuraj was born in the state of Tamil Nadu and plays for Chennaiyin FC. He started his youth career with Arrows FC. The Indian winger represented Chennai City FC and Mohun Bagan in the Hero I league in their respective title-winning seasons. Before joining Chennayin FC , he represented FC Goa in the Hero ISL.
