Manuel Lanzarote is a Spanish midfielder who started his youth career with FC Barcelona and his senior career with the club’s C and B teams. He played for a number of Spanish lower divisions clubs before featuring for RCD Espanyol in the top flight. Stints at Greek side Asteras Tripolis and Real Zaragoza at home followed before his move to India. He proved to be a revelation for FC Goa in 2017-18 before joining ATK FC for Hero ISL 2018-19. The Spaniard returned to the Hero ISL for 2020-21, this time for Chennaiyin FC as an injury replacement for Rafael Crivellaro.
