Juan Mera is a Punjab FC midfielder who has taken part in the vast majority of their Indian Super League matches in 2023/2024, making 17 appearances overall and accumulating 901 minutes of playing time. He has started in 10 of these appearances across their 22 fixtures and been used as a substitute on seven occasions. The last Indian Super League game that Mera played came on April 2 for Punjab FC against Odisha FC; a meeting that he played 45 minutes in during a 3-1 loss. In total, he has netted two Indian Super League goals this term, and provided two assists. He has been shown a yellow card once. It was versus FC Goa on March 11 when Mera last scored, netting in a 3-3 draw. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 1-1 draw against Hyderabad FC on November 7. In last season's I-League, Mera featured in 18 games for Punjab FC, scored 10 goals and provided two assists.
