Mohammad Yasir, a versatile midfielder, initially joined FC Goa for the 2017-18 Hero ISL season but made his league debut only next season as he played one match for FC Pune City having joined them earlier from the Gaurs set-up. In the 2019-20 season, Yasir played 15 games for Hyderabad FC. In the 2020-21 season, his game time as well as the number of matches increased as Manuel Marquez’s men narrowly missed out on the semis. In March 2021, Yasir also made his India debut in an international friendly against Oman in Dubai.
