East Bengal midfielder Loken Meitei hasn't been involved in many of the side's Indian Super League games in 2020/2021, making one appearance overall and accumulating 79 minutes of playing time. This one appearance came as a starter. Meitei last made an appearance in an Indian Super League game on November 27, playing 79 minutes for East Bengal against ATK Mohun Bagan in a 2-0 defeat. In last season's I-League, Meitei appeared in five games for TRAU. Meitei linked up with East Bengal in August 2020 from TRAU, for whom he made five league appearances in total.
