Hitesh Sharma started his football career at the Chandigarh Football Academy and later joined the Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur. Hitesh made his debut in the Hero ISL for ATK FC in the 2017-18 season and got decent opportunities there till the 2018-19 season. However, after failing to get any game time in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign, the hard-working midfielder moved to Hyderabad FC during the January transfer window. He featured in 15 games for Manuel Marquez’s team in the 2020-21 season.
