Mumbai City FC midfielder Hitesh Sharma hasn't been involved in many of the club's Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, making two appearances overall and accumulating 16 minutes of playing time. Both of his appearances this season have come as a substitute. The last Indian Super League match that Sharma played came on January 12 for Mumbai City FC against Jamshedpur FC; a match that he played 14 minutes in during a 3-0 loss. Sharma played four Indian Super League games last season for Odisha FC. Sharma linked up with Mumbai City FC on loan in July 2024 from Odisha FC, for whom he has made four league appearances in total, after joining the club in January 2024 from Hyderabad FC.
