Bio
Juan de Dios Lopez, fondly known as Juande, began his youth career with the Real Betis academy and didn’t take long to make it to the first team. The defensive midfielder made his first team debut in the UEFA Champions League before going on to play in La Liga as well. Juande made a total of 69 appearances for the club during his six-year stint and scored three goals. He spent half a season on loan at Granada before joining Belgian club Westerlo during the 2011-12 season. He returned to Spain to play for SD Ponferradina in the Segunda division for a couple of seasons. He then moved to Italy to join Spezia in Serie B before arriving in Australia to join A-League club Perth Glory ahead of the 2018-19 season. After two seasons with the club, Juande joined Kerala Blasters FC as an injury replacement for Sergio Cidoncha during the 2020-21 season and made 10 Hero ISL appearances.
